This Privacy Policy explains what information Unlock 2 Go (“we”, “us”) collects when you use Unlock 2 Go, how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Information we collect
- Account details – username, email address and a securely hashed password when you sign up. Optional channel name and logo you upload.
- Links you create – destination links, text/prompts/scripts, tasks and button names you add to a locked link.
- Usage and technical data – when a locked link is viewed or unlocked we record the event with the visitor’s IP address and time. We use this for statistics, abuse prevention and fair per-IP limits.
- Messages – anything you send us through the contact form.
2. How we use information
- To provide and secure the service (accounts, locked links, statistics, QR codes).
- To send service emails such as password resets and replies to your messages.
- To detect fraud, spam and abuse, and to enforce our Terms of Service.
3. Cookies and local storage
We use a small number of cookies and browser storage that are needed for the site to work. See our Cookie Policy for details.
4. Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers that help us run the site (for example hosting, our email delivery provider, a QR-code image service, and link-preview services used to find a product image for the web address you add to a multi-link page), when required by law, or to protect our rights and users. When a visitor completes a task, they are sent to the third-party website you chose (such as YouTube or Instagram), which has its own privacy policy.
5. Data retention and security
We keep account data while your account is active. Deleting a link also deletes its tasks and statistics. Passwords are hashed, link passwords are never stored in plain text, and pages are served over HTTPS. No method of transmission is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data.
6. Your choices
You can edit your email and password in Settings, change or remove your channel logo, and delete your links at any time. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account data, contact us using the details below.
7. Children
Unlock 2 Go is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
8. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above shows when it last changed.
